Why this site exists

growgardencalculator.live is a free, community-built tool for Roblox players of the Grow a Garden (GAG) game. The site was built because existing GAG calculators were slow, ad-heavy, and missing data for the newer pets and mutations introduced in versions 1.30 and beyond. Every calculator runs instantly in the browser, with no submit button, no account and no waiting on a server round-trip.

The idea started from a simple frustration shared across the Grow a Garden trading community: three different calculators would give three different answers for the same plant, because each one used an outdated mutation list or the wrong weight formula. Rather than patch one more calculator on top of that problem, this site was built from scratch against the actual in-game stacking formula, then checked against real trades until the numbers matched consistently.

What the site covers

Every calculator on the site uses the same value, weight, mutation, and XP formulas as the live Roblox game. The plant database covers 200+ species across Fruits & Vegetables, Flowers, Special Plants, Moon Plants, Rare Plants, and Exotic Plants. The pet database covers 159+ pets across Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic rarities. The mutation table contains all 98+ confirmed mutations with their tiers and multipliers, ranging from Wet (2x) and Chilled (2x) at the bottom to Harmonised Foxfire (190x) and Dawnbound (190x) at the top.

Data is refreshed on every major game patch, with the current build targeting version 1.32. When new pets, plants, or mutations appear in the game, we verify base values against in-game observations before publishing. Six dedicated calculators cover the full player journey: plant value, pet value, pet XP, trade fairness, mutation stacking and fruit weight, plus a searchable plant values reference table for quick lookups without running a full calculation.

Our commitment to accuracy

Every base value on this site starts from an in-game screenshot or a verified community data point, not a guess. New entries are cross-checked against multiple independent sources before publishing, and any value flagged as wrong by a player is investigated within 24 hours. The formulas used across every calculator, including crop worth, mutation stacking, friend boost and pet XP leveling, are documented openly on each tool's page rather than hidden behind a black-box result, so you can verify the math yourself instead of taking it on faith.

How it is built

The site is intentionally lightweight. Pages weigh under 100KB, load in under a second on mobile, and have no popup ads or cookie walls covering the calculator. Everything works without an account. The site is server-rendered and deployed to a global edge network, so latency is low everywhere in the world. Source code uses semantic HTML, JSON-LD structured data, and full hreflang coverage for 18 languages, so the homepage reads correctly whether you land on it from a search result in English, Spanish, Japanese or Arabic.

Who builds it

The project is maintained by a small team of GAG players who also trade and farm actively in the game. We are not affiliated with Roblox Corporation or the Grow a Garden developers, and none of the data here comes from private game files. Every number is derived from public gameplay observation.
